The power of softness

3-night retreat

5-8 October 2023

Villanova d'Asti, Piedmont, Italy

The power of softness is a non-fancy retreat that will give you the opportunity to practice ways to soften your body, learn how to go back to your center when under pressure and connect to your inner strength. It is an opportunity to let go of stress and chronic stress, and re-align with who you are.
Together, we will be saying goodbye to summer and entering into fall with ease and grace.
Through somatic practices, mindfulness, yoga, gentle movements and sounds you will strengthen your capacity to pay attention, stay at your center, be aware of what you care about and find the power of softness.
There will be long stretches of silence and practice, that are making this retreat a perfect match for you if you want to keep depending your relationship with yourself so that you can live intentionally. An opportunity to heal and let go, to expand and find energy, and connect to other like-hearted people.

What do we do?

We will meet on Thursday 5th October between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., and get to know each other. On the first night we will help you relax and fully arrive with mind and body.
Every day you will engage in somatic and mindfulness practices led by Silvia Vernaschi, and Yoga and Sound practices led by Dominika Schütze.
Morning yoga will be the perfect way to kick off your days, followed by breakfast and a morning full of different practices.
Afternoons will be for more practice, moving, and another yoga class.
There will be long periods of silence when communication will be limited to practices we will engage in intentionally.
We will also guide you through some reflective practices and writing exercises.

Dominika will be offering a limited number of body work sessions at extra cost.
Please note that the retreat is open to people with some previous experience in mindfulness practice and/or meditation and/or somatic work and/or yoga.
If you do have previous experience with mindfulness, meditation or somatic work, any level of experience with yoga is welcome (beginners are welcome).
